Everything starts with a conversation. Not simply a quote — a real exchange. We want to understand your venue, your vision, the atmosphere you are creating and the way you want this day to be remembered.
A few weeks before the wedding, we discuss the flow of the day, the moments that matter most to you, and the way light moves through your venue depending on the season. We begin shaping the visual story before we arrive — and that changes everything.
A Loire château in the late afternoon does not call for the same images as a Mediterranean villa at noon. This preparation allows your photographs to feel like your wedding — not just a wedding.
Present.
Never intrusive.
We arrive early. We stay late. In between, we are fully present without ever taking over. Discreet, but never absent. You may notice us little — yet later, in the images, you will see so much of yourselves.
We work with available light whenever possible. We do not manufacture scenes, and we do not force moments. We read the day as one reads a story — searching for the truest lines.
A gentle suggestion of light, position or movement when needed — just enough to create images that feel composed without losing their truth. Guided when necessary, never staged. Your wedding, preserved as it truly felt.

While Damien shapes the visual narrative — rhythm, light, composition — Sarah-Lisa reads the quiet margins of the story: the gestures between gestures, the glance before tears, the moments that can only be seen when someone is exactly where they need to be.
When he follows the bride through the grand staircase, she may be watching a mother from the corridor. When he frames the exchange of rings, she may already be in the last row, where emotions often arrive more quietly.
Our artistic direction remains one — refined, editorial, shaped by fashion, cinema and documentary sensitivity. Two perspectives. One way of seeing.

In the weeks following your wedding, we begin the selection process — a long and precise work that feels close to editing a film. We choose the images that build a coherent story, and remove anything that repeats, weakens or lacks intention.
Every selected image is edited individually. Our rendering is consistent, editorial and timeless — never batch-filtered, never artificial. The light of your wedding remains the light of your wedding.
Your images are delivered through a private online gallery, designed to be shared with your loved ones. If your collection includes an album, we guide you through its creation — image selection, layout, materials and finishes. The album is not an extra. It is the object that will outlive everything else.

We photograph weddings
in France, Italy and beyond.
Tuscan villas, French châteaux, Mediterranean estates, private properties and countryside manors — every destination is approached with the same preparation, the same presence and the same visual intention.
Destination collections include travel arrangements. Share your date and venue with us, and we will create a tailored proposal for your celebration.
What couples often
ask us first.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Ideally 12 to 18 months in advance for 2027 and 2028 weddings. Dates are often reserved early, but some remain available — feel free to contact us even for a shorter timeline.
Do you always photograph weddings as a duo?
Our main collections are built around the Damien & Sarah-Lisa duo — it is central to our approach. Solo coverage may be available for very intimate ceremonies or specific events.
When will we receive our photographs?
Your full gallery is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks after the wedding. This timeframe allows us to edit each image individually, with no compromise on quality or consistency.
How would you describe your editing style?
Each image is edited by hand. Our look is refined, editorial and timeless — never heavily filtered, never over-retouched. The light of your wedding remains the light of your wedding.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. Albums are included in selected collections and are produced by carefully chosen ateliers for their materials, colour fidelity and craftsmanship. We guide you through image selection, layout and finishes.
Can we book you from abroad?
Yes — we photograph weddings throughout France, across Europe and internationally. Travel arrangements are included in our destination collections. Send us your venue and date, and we will prepare a personal proposal.
Can we share the images online?
Yes, freely. We can also provide Instagram-optimised exports if you would like to share selected images on social media.
Do you work with an external second photographer?
No. The Damien & Sarah-Lisa duo is our studio. You are choosing our shared vision — not the work of an unknown second photographer. This ensures consistency, trust and a unified artistic direction.
